Registering for walks

  1. View the activity table to establish the type of walk session that meets your fitness aspirations (Walk n Talk, Well-being, Blast, HIIT/Circuits) 
  2. Pick the location/date and time of your preferred walk
  3. Click ‘View details’ tolerant more.  
  4. Click ‘Book’ to start the booking process.  You will be asked to log in or create an account.  Then confirm attendance and acceptance of terms and conditions.  An email will be sent to confirm your place (allow 30 minutes for this to allow, plus check your junk box).
  5. If the walk is full click 'Join Waitlist', this way you'll get details of a place as soon as one becomes free.
  6. Booking terms & conditions:   You can book your walks in advance for the month - but please only book walks you know you can attend.  Bookings are set 48 hours before each walk.  Any cancellations after the booking has been set, or no-shows are chargeable unless the place is filled.
  7. You can check your walks and delete walks through the schedule functionality anytime by logging into your account.

Before attending any of our sessions please click here to read the latest government guidelines for your own safety  .

Please do NOT attend …. if you are exhibiting any of the coronavirus symptoms

    • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
    • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
    • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
  • or, if you have been in contact with anyone exhibiting/confirmed as having any of these symptoms or the virus

In this event, please cancel your registration and if possible notify your walk leader if short notice.  No charge will be made.

Payment options for group walks:

Nordic walking options:  

  • Pay as you go - £7.00 
  • Block purchase - £36 for 6 sessions (£1 discount per walk).  Blocks remain valid for 3 months. 
  • Pole hire: £2.00 per session.

Additional services

  • The HIIT/Nordic Circuit sessions operate on an £8.00 pay as you go basis only
  • 1-2-1 Personal Training Sessions - £40 for one person, £50 for two people
  • Extended Walks and outings (prices set per event)

Inclement Weather Policy:  

  • We WILL walk in snow, rain and wind if it is safe to travel to the appointed destination.  
  • Walks MAY be cancelled if gale force winds, torrential rain, thunder and lightning is forecast.  
  • If cancelling a walk a note will be placed at the top of this page one hour in advance.

Dog Policy

Experienced walkers are welcome to bring their dogs (unless otherwise indicated) as long as they can be controlled off and on leads, interact well with other walkers/dogs, and can get across styles. The owner must respect any signage pertaining to dogs on the walk, such as please keep your dog on a lead, and maintain control of the dog at all times, take full responsibility for its actions and clean up after it. 3rd party insurance must be in place. Owners are also asked to arrive 15 minutes in advance so that their dog is settled prior to the walk.
