Nordic Walk it! safely….check your health, wash your hands before and after attending, keep a face mask in your pocket for emergencies, only use your own equipment and never share drinks or snacks. Be mindful to maintain social distancing and not to cluster together before, during and after your session.
Please do NOT attend …. if you are exhibiting any of the coronavirus symptoms
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
- if you have been in contact with anyone exhibiting/confirmed as having any of these symptoms or the virus.
In this event of either of the above, please cancel your registration and notify your walk leader. No charge will be made.
